Theme Thursday - Space

As regular readers will know, I usually find a vintage postcard or vintage magazine to fit in with Theme Thursday, but occasionally I do depart and dig through my music collection. This week's theme of 'space' has given me another such opportunity. This is a wonderful album from Hawkwind from the early 1970's, and fits this week's theme well I think.

And of course there's also my In Search of Space blog, about a different kind of space.

    Unexpected but very welcome post! Awesome album, cover and band.
    Weird thing is, this makes it two days in a row that I have come across a reference to this album. Yesterday on a radio phone in quiz, the contestant was asked to complete the title of the Hawkwind album..'In Search of ????'
    I wonder what tomorrow brings :)

    I'm all for departing! The name of my blog is "Departing the Text."

    I love this departure, even though I am not sure it really is a departure. The use of space, line and color are cool - just not sky and 'outerspace'
